Which type of Police Check
is required?
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is generally used for employment, probity and licencing.
An Australian Federal Police Check is for immigration, visa, overseas employment, citizenship, people living or working in the Australian Capital Territory, Jervis Bay Territory and external Commonwealth territories, employment with the Commonwealth Government
or overseas adoption.

How long does processing
my Police Check take?
Your police check can take anywhere from one business day to several weeks depending on State and Territory Police agencies.
Ready Check has no control over the time it takes to complete your Police Check.
There are no refunds for insufficient, incorrect or false information you supply to us and no refunds if your Police Check is not returned by any date you may require.

Police checks utilise databases that comprises records of all Australian Police agencies, including;
Victorian Police, NSW Police, Queensland Police, South Australian Police, Western Australian Police, Tasmanian Police, Northern Territory Police and the
Australian Federal Police.

We advise you to choose our service carefully as we do not issue refunds and are not required to provide a refund for data entry errors that have been made by individuals inputting their own details into the application or for checks which we are not authorised to process and/or your selection is the incorrect check type.
